The suppositories remain solid below 76 degrees, so we suggest you keep them in a cool place to prevent melting. If necessary, melted suppositories can be placed in the fridge to solidify. For easiest insertion, and to firm up the cocoa butter, we suggest placing the suppository in the refrigerator up to 15 minutes before use. When ready to use, tear off one shell and gently peel the tabs apart to reveal the suppository inside. Using your finger, insert solid suppository as deeply as possible into the rectum or vagina. Then relax and enjoy for 10-20 minutes, or longer if you have time, to allow your body to absorb the oil. Some oil may remain and lubricate the area around the anus or vaginal opening – this is normal and beneficial.
